The professor of psychiatry at the UCLA School of Medicine, Dan Siegel conducted a study on how using a cell phone just before sleeping affects our body and brain.
Dr. Siegel says that when we look at our cell phone, the light from the screen alerts our brain to stay awake.
It is known that notenough sleeping affects our memory, problem solving, stressand makes it easier to put on some extra weight. Also the neurons fail to relax, if we do not get the required 7 – 9 hours of sleep.
