Since the 1930s, Japanese researchers have been trying to find a link between a person’s personality traits and predisposition to ailments and their blood type. Although more extensive research is required in this field, the findings so far are quite interesting and worth reading.
O Blood Type
According to findings from the Japanese Institute of Technology, people with O blood type are more susceptible to mosquito bites than the people with other blood types. In addition, they are more prone to stress, due to the fact that cortisol, the stress hormone, stays longer in their blood; this also accelerates the aging process in these people. On the other hand, people with O blood type are more sociable and open minded.
A Blood Type
The magazine Neuropsychobiology described people with A blood type as more inclined to OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorders). Plus, this group is believed to most determined, intelligent and self-possessed.
B Blood Type
Japanese scientists also found that people with B blood type are captivating because they are the most differing from all other blood types. Their character traits include creativity, passion and strong will; however they are also self-centered and impulsive.
AB Blood Type
According to the results of a study published in the magazine Neurology, the AB blood type is at a higher risk of memory loss as they get old. In the study, older with AB blood type experienced more problems with learning and retaining information. On the other hand, these people are very compassionate and capable of adapting to all sorts of situations without losing their individuality.
