A German scientist named Dr. Otto Warburg got the Nobel Prize for medicine back in 1931 for his research on the body’s acidity connected to the getting of cancer. Dr Warburg had devoted his life to studying the human body and the connection between its pH values with getting a disease.
What he discovered is that cancer spreads faster in an acidic organism because of the lactic acid and elevated CO2. The more alkaline an organism is, the more oxygen to the cells is provided. Dr. Warburg’s theory is that cancer cells cannot survive in an oxygen filled surroundings. Dr Warburg’s theory to connect the acidity of the body with disease is what actually got him the Nobel Prize.
The fact that he connected the creation of cancer with the acidity in the organism is worth sharing. With his words, “All normal cells have an absolute requirement for oxygen, but cancer cells can live without oxygen – a rule without exception. Deprive a cell 35% of its oxygen for 48 hours and it may become cancerous.”
With his words, “Cancerous tissues are acidic, whereas healthy tissues are alkaline. Water splits into H+ and OH- ions, if there is and excess of H+, it is acidic; if there is an excess of OH- ions, then it is alkaline”.
