Clearing Blackheads with Toothpaste

1# Get the appropriate toothpaste.

2# Wash your face well.

Wash and dry your face with warm water as you normally do. Apply some toothpaste on the skin affected with blackheads. This would probably be your nose or chin. Leave the toothpaste to dry thoroughly. As soon as it dries, rub it on your skin gently. This will help remove the blackheads from your pores. Afterwards, wash and dry your face again.

As an alternative, apply the toothpaste on your face using a cotton cloth soaked in olive or almond oil instead of your fingers. For a few minutes, rub the toothpaste into your skin with the cloth.

3# Add salt to the toothpaste for quicker results.

If you want to optimize the results of the treatment, make a mixture using equal ratio of toothpaste and salt. In case the mixture becomes too thick, thin it with a few drops of warm water. Wash and dry your face with warm water as you normally do. Apply the mixture on your face rubbing gently. Let it act for about 5-10 minutes. Rub the mixture around the affected skin gently in order to remove the blackheads from your pores. Rinse it with warm water. In the end, dry your face and apply your daily moisturizer.

Important:

  • It’s important that your face remains moist throughout the treatment.
  • Use baking soda as an alternative to salt.
  • Before applying some moisturize, rub the treated areas on your face with an ice cube to close the pores and thus prevent entrance of bacteria inside your skin.
