This smoothie proves that the whole breakfast can be placed in one single glass! It is a mixture of a few things which you usually eat for breakfast, but in a little modified way. This breakfast smoothie is a great way to start the day, it is healthy and in it we can add whatever we want. In the winter time the solutions are frozen strawberries, blueberries, raspberries etc. The banana which you use should be more mature and the smoothie will be tastier and sweeter. Sugar is not necessary, but a little more honey will give you even more health at the moment. Add walnuts, hazelnuts or almonds and make the healthiest smoothie.
- 2 tablespoons frozen blueberries
- 3 tablespoons of frozen strawberries
- 1 banana
- 3 tablespoons oatmeal or homemade muesli (spoon more or less as you wish)
- 1 tablespoon of yogurt
- Juice of 1 grapefruit
- Juice of one orange
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 4 walnuts
- A couple of ice cubes
Put all the ingredients in blender and mix few minutes. You can garnish it with muesli or oatmeal.
Freeze the remaining apple juice in molds for making ice, and it will be used for another smoothie
You can always add a little milk or soy milk in your smoothie.
Add a little lemon juice in the apple or banana for your smoothie to prevent changing color of the fruit
Wash the fruit, clean and freeze it in smaller portions that can then be used as needed.
