Although not many have heard of the Hunza people, native to northern Pakistan, they are known as the healthiest population in the world. Cancer incidence is very low in this tribe and they rarely get sick. What’s more, their average life expectancy is 120.
One of the things typical of this nation is that they always bathe in cold water. It may sound surprising, but Hunza women often give birth at 65, which is a medical wonder for the rest of the world.
“There’s no recorded cancer incidence among the Hunza people. Their diet is largely based on dried apricots.”
Interestingly, the Hunza diet consists solely of crops that they grow themselves. This includes raw fruit and vegetables, dried apricots, nuts, different cereals like buckwheat, millet and barley, milk eggs, legumes and other healthy foods. They never consume imported food.
Another typical feature of this nation is that they have a fasting period that lasts 2-4 months a year, when they don’t eat anything, except drinking dry apricot juice.
Medical experts believe that apricots are the main reason why there’s no cancer among the Hunzas. The thing is apricots seeds contain vitamin B-17, a powerful anti-cancer agent.
It seems that the Hunzas are the healthiest nation in the world because of their diet.
