The University of Medical Sciences in Iran conducted a study which involved two groups of women. Both groups had 44 overweight subjects each and they examined and observed their eating habits in a period of three months. Both groups had the exact same menu with the only difference that one group consumed cumin powder in combination with the healthy food. The first group drank 140ml yogurt spiced with some cumin powder while the other group had just the yogurt.
Three months later they compared the results and got amazing results. The first group lost about 14 kilograms more compared to the second group by just adding cumin to their diet.
Another thing that was noticeably different is that the first group lost 14.64% more fat than the second group, which only lost 4.91% of fat.
