hey laura. in order to find real sour milk yogurt i would look into local dairies. they will have the best quality and most knowledge about their product and passion!

  2. Megi_Grabo says:

I was wondering about sour milk yogurt too-in my opinion greek yogurt is too fat- in POLAND we have “kefir” Or “maslanka”=>buttermilk. i would recommend Natural yogurt with natural bacteria as Lactobacillus acidophilus
    Lactobacillus casei oraz paracasei
    Bifidobacterium spp

  3. John says:

      1. Lauren says:

  8. khairol paijan says:

This diet looks very healthy and without doubt it can reduce your weight drastically. However some of the diet may be too much for some people to stomach i.e drink lemon water and sour apple after that could lead to grastic. Drinking green tea does help to burn fat however a liter of green tea from 4 tea bags could lead you to stay alert all night cause green tea has high value of caffeine. Just my 2 cents.

    1. Robin says:

I can’t handle caffeine of any kind – I use green tea but I buy the decaf – doesn’t hurt the nutritional value -or so I’ve been told. ๐Ÿ™‚

    2. kerin says:

I was thinking the same thing! GREEN TEA AT BEDTIME?? What about Caffeine free is that ok?

      1. REBECCA says:

        YES & PERFECT!!!

  9. Sidd says:

    I am a vegeterian,
so any substitute for checken or veal ?
I assume you are referring to Protien, so may be grains or sprouts ?

Can i intake some brown rice in lunch?

    Thanks in advance,
    Sidd

    1. mj says:

i’m a vegetarian too but. wouldn’t eat brown rice..try salad with alot of green like green peppers, organic lettuce with olive oil with some radishes, cucumbers , sprouts and a small amount of nuts

  10. Iowamom says:

Has anybody actually done this diet? Wondering how well it works…

    1. jennifer says:

yes im on day two so far so good morning I have my lemon water and coffee in am then two oranges and some saltless cashews. lunch a piece of chicken and two oikos greek 100 calorie yogurts. dinner salad with tomatoes and cucumber and two hard boiled eggs and that green tea also tons of water throughout day. day two and im down two pounds already

      1. Tiffany says:

How is this working for you? Did you stick with it? Did you see results?

      2. kerin says:

I didnt see coffee on this but ill drink it black. Is coffee allowed?

      3. tee says:

what green tea are you using? and how long do you want in between meals to eat and do you eat the salad as a snack or just dinner

      4. Jennifer, did you finish ? What were your results?

  11. Saleema says:

Can i follow this plan when i m breast feeding?

    1. mamamia says:

NO – never diet when breastfeeding. this isn’t enough calories. Eat your greens and fruits and proteins and drink water water water.

    2. jennifer says:

I wouldn’t do while breatfeeding u need all the nutrition while breast feeding, I used to work for gyn office.

      1. Stephanie says:

I believe that whilst you are pregnant you need to eat at least 500 calories MORE than the average adult intake which would be approximately 2500 calories so you baby can grow ๐Ÿ™‚

  12. Azzab says:

I’m a veggie too, personally anything with protein, eggs, spinach, broccoli, sprouts etc. etc.

  13. Robin says:

Can you please tell me what you can substitute for the meat. I have a granddaughter that doesn’t eat meat of any kind. Could she maybe substitute a hard boiled egg or some other source of protein?

  14. Evan says:

Woo, eating healthy sure is expensive

  15. suyog says:

has anyone completed this diet plan and what’s the result ?

This one is for the author- why do you prescribe cold water, I’ve heard abt. lime juice in lukewarm water but never in cold water…

    1. Robin says:

I’ve always heard of hot water – I used to call it hot lemon tea. But I’ve also heard that cold water helps to burn calories because you body has to work hard to warm it up. So I don’t know but I would imagine either would work and be good for you.

      1. suyog says:

makes sense.. Thanks Robin. I have one more question.. what should be one’s diet after one completes this program ?

        1. Robin says:

For me, I would slowly incorporate normal foods back into your diet – no fats or carbs (sugar) but add maybe fish or very lean beef instead of chicken, steamed veggies like broccoli and slowly increase the amount you eat. I would have 2 proteins a day, 4 to 5 servings of veggies and 2 fruits. I normally use my 2 fruits for snacks.

All of my suggestions are from just what I’ve learned and does not mean this is correct – I am not the writer of this diet and I am not the owner of this blog – their opinions may be totally different from my own. But any diet should be used not only to lose weight but as a stepping stone to a healthier life style so you can keep the weight off and be healthy.

  16. dan says:

I want to do this diet, how much meat can I have during lunch? and can i have it with rice or like a sandwich? Or does anyone have like a detail plan of it with meals and how much food…

    1. Robin says:

Dan, I used to be a diet coach & I have never done this particular diet but on the one I coached women had 3.5 to 4 oz of meat and men were allowed double so it would be 7 or 8 oz for men. Men have a much faster metabolism and lose weight faster than women. No bread or rice – those are carbs and would defeat the purpose. As for the salad you can probably eat a very large salad as long as you watch what you put in it. Stick to your leafy greens, radishes – things like that and no carrots or starchy veggies. Hope this helps.

  17. Jackie R says:

What has outcomes been for anyone that has completed one week. Does anyone add the meat to the snack salad and skip the snack to make it lunch with the yogurt. How has your appetite been.

  26. Edward says:

I too drink two glasses of lemon water to detoxify every morning. My Javita Coffee and Tea helps me bump my metabolism into high gear. I eat 5 times a day starting 6am every two hours. Portion control is key. Your body is like a furnace. You need to feed your body consistently throughout the day. Eating small portions throughout the day helps with over eating at one sitting. That was my problem before. You can check out my pics on my website http://www.yuned247.com

    1. daxwell says:

  29. Shelly says:

  30. Dre says:

I can’t stomach yogurt of any kind.. Can I just not have the yogurt or substitute the 100 calorie part skim string cheese in its place?

  36. Carolyn says:

what nuts have the highest antioxidants in them for woman I am a grazer I like to chew throughout the day can the apples and nuts be eaten thou out the day or does it have to be in a meal setting? also how much olive oil

  37. christy says:

I am on day four of this diet and have lost four pounds and feel great. I am not following it to a tee, but still eating the allowed foods. I start with the lemon water in the am, the almonds. At lunch I have a large chicken breast and large spinach salad with tomatoes or cucumbers. On the salad I mix a small bit of green goddess with mostly vinegar. A snack will be cucumbers or beets. some kind of veggie. Then for dinner, two eggs plus a salad. dessert of after dinner snack I have two chopped apples with greek yogurt and honey. i have been drinking decaf green tea after dinner.

  38. Sophie says:

Since i have gastrik, can i substitute the cold lemon juice to hot honey + lemon?

  39. Okay says:

This whole diet sounds like starvation. That’s why it’s working.

  40. Sheila says:

What can be substituted for the veal or chicken? I am vegetarian. Thank you kindly.

  41. Stacie says:

I am experiencing a terrible headache on this diet. I am on day 3 and it’s almost unbearable. Any suggestions?

    1. Cardoza says:

It’s probably a caffeine detox headache ๐Ÿ™ I would anticipate it if I was starting it. By the number of people claiming they were going to start and they have never responded I am going to guess it wasn’t easy to stick with and they gave up. Sure it would work if you follow it and don’t deviate. Just complete it with excercise. Think ill do the three day military diet. I’d rather torture myself three days then 7:)
