There’s a general misconception that the less the salt we eat, the better. When it comes to salt intake, it’s more important to choose the right one, rather than simply cut it down. For instance, using a refined salt that has already lost the essential minerals is far from being health beneficial, unlike using unrefined one, which is great both for digestion and detoxification.
The health benefits of using unrefined salt as part of your dietary plan are presented in the video below, along with the methods of how to use it. The thing is that although highly beneficial, water isn’t enough to detox the body on its own because it moves quickly through the system instead of being metabolized to its maximum potential. Salt water, on the other hand, slows down the absorption of water and improves digestion by stimulating the acids and enzymes that break down the food.
If you want to provide your body with sufficient amount of salt, you simply need to put 1/3 of unrefined salt in a jar and then fill the jar up with purified water. Close it tight, shake it and leave it for 24 hours. You could add some more salt the following day. The water is ready to drink when the salt no longer dissolves. This blend is known as Sole. You can store it in a cupboard or on the kitchen counter.
What you do next is drink the salt water each morning instead of breakfast for a week. Dissolve half a teaspoon of Sole into 8oz glass of water. Drink it only on an empty stomach. Apart from cleansing your body, this makes good grounds for proper digestion and hydration for the rest of the day.
It’s a perfectly healthy way to start your day!
