The healing properties of cinnamon and honey, alone and in combination, are already well known. But what you may not know is the fact that these two magical ingredients can help you lose weight. Try this drink that is tasty, easy to prepare, speeds up the metabolism and helps you get rid of excess as you sit back in your chair. We do not say that it is okay to forget about exercise, but if you still really hate to run, there are other solutions!
This is one of them:
You will need:
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 250 ml water
Instructions for preparation:
1) The recommended amount can be changed, but it is important to always use two measures of honey and one measure of cinnamon. Prepare as much as you need.
2) Boil the water.
3) Pour the boiling water over the cinnamon. Cover the bowl and let it stand until it cools down approximately to the temperature at which it is possible to consume the beverage.
4) Add honey only when the drink is chilled. Never pour honey in hot water, because the heat destroys enzymes and other nutrients of the honey.
5) Drink half the drink before bed. The second half leave in the fridge and drink it in the morning – but without reheating.
