There is an old saying that goes like- “if you can’t eat it, don’t put it on your face.” The mask that I will present you follows this saying.
If you have won the fight against bad skin and still have welts and tarnishes in your skin tone, this mask will be very useful for you. There are some particular ingredients in this powerful, natural and simple mask, like cinnamon which is one of the main ingredients.
When the cinnamon is applied on the skin it gives a feeling of tingling that will fade away in 3-5 minutes. The cinnamon is effective anti-fungal and antibacterial factor and also has plenty of antioxidants that are efficient in disabling any damage to the skin. The nutmeg is the second important ingredient. It is rich source of B vitamins, like B2 (riboflavin), folic acid (B9) and niacin (B3). There are also other vitamins like Vitamin C and Vitamin A and many antioxidants such as beta-carotebe and cryptoxanthin which are very useful for your skin.
The wet part of the mask is contained by the honey and lemon juice. The lemon juice is full with vitamin C that boosts collagen creation, and has also withering qualities. The lemon juice is providing balance for your skin’s tone. The honey is one of the best natural compounds that better your skin’s overall health. It has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial characteristics. Don’t be afraid if you feel shivers on the skin after applying the mask on your skin.
‘Burning’ face mask-Recipe
- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
Take one bowl and combine all compounds together. With the help of a towel, put the mask to your face. Let the mask for 30 minutes. If you can’t stand the shivers, keep the mask at least for 10 minutes. Keep in mind that this burning feeling will last only few minutes and then it will fade away. Wash away the mask with warm water.
NOTE: If you have sensitive skin you should avoid the lemon juice or apply more honey in the composite, which will make it thicker.
